Phototherapy Guide
Plug in the device and put on the UV protective goggles.
Initial Exposure:
Adults: 30 seconds
Children: 15 seconds
Treat 2–3 times per week. Always leave at least 48 hours between sessions.
Important: Only treat if any redness from the previous session has completely faded.
- No redness: +20 seconds next time.
- Mild redness (Goal): Maintain current time.
- Strong redness: Skip sessions until healed, then reduce time by 20%.
- Typical exposure: 3–4 minutes per spot.
The Goal: Mild, pinkish redness (erythema) that appears 6-8 hours after exposure and fades by the next day. This indicates successful stimulation.
Avoid Common Mistakes
- ❌ Inconsistent phototherapy sessions.
- ❌ Stopping treatment too early (before 3 months).
- ❌ Incorrect UVB exposure times.
